On August 30, the deadline given to the City Government of Navotas expired. The city did not respond to the demand and publicly denied the existence of any threat.
As of today, the breach will be carried out. Over 300,000 residents and employees are affected. Exfiltrated data including personal information such as ID's, addresses, and contact details will be released.
The city was given an opportunity to prevent this but chose not to engage. Their public dismissal of the threat removed any reason to hold back.
