Not sure if this is the right section, but what resources would you recommend for understanding SS7 and telecom security?
I'm looking for technical material covering how signaling works, the main attack types, the conditions they require, and their limitations. I'd also like to understand how SS7 compares to Diameter and signaling in 5G networks.
Any solid papers, books, conference talks, or courses? Preferably something that builds from the fundamentals rather than just describing attacks without explaining the protocols behind them.
